Our Story
Founded in 1971 as part of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement, Bread of Life has been a beacon of faith in Bangalore for over five decades.
A Legacy of Faith
Established in 1978 under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Francis Rebello S.J. and Fritz Mascarenhas, Bread of Life emerged as one of the earliest charismatic prayer groups in Bangalore.
Our journey began during the early days of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement in India, when the Holy Spirit moved powerfully through our community, drawing people from all walks of life.
Over the decades, we have remained faithful to our calling, meeting every Thursday evening for praise, worship, and fellowship at St. Joseph's Boys' High School, continuing the tradition that has blessed thousands of lives.
