Gospel Reading for 18 November 2023 | Luke 18:1-8
When the Son of man comes, will he find faith on earth?
The Bread of Life is a Catholic Charismatic prayer group dedicated to living out Christian values.
The Charismatic Renewal is a movement in the Catholic Church that recognises God as living and active.
Join us as we adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
Join us as we draw closer to God through praise and worship.
We share the love and joy of Christ to those who have been largely ignored by society.
We volunteer our time and abilities to serve the Lord and those around us.
We are dedicated to making you feel at home as part of God’s larger family.
We intercede for the Church, the prayer group and you and your families.
We draw you closer to God through praise and worship, using music and Scripture.
We are always available to pray with you and help you discern God’s will for your life.
The Bread of Life prayer group meets every Thursday at 6 p.m. to worship the Lord and to share the Word. We also meet for Eucharistic Adoration on the first Thursday of every month. These meetings are streamed live on our YouTube channel.
The Bread of Life prayer group meets every day, over Zoom, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. where we pray together and intercede for the needs of the Church and the prayer group, and for you and your loved ones. We’d love to have you join us!
The Bread of Life youth meet on most Saturdays at 5 p.m. where we worship the Lord, share the Word, and help each other navigate the world we live in, while living out Christian values. All are welcome!
When the Son of man comes, will he find faith on earth?
Whoever seeks to gain his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will preserve it.
As the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one side to the other, so will the Son of man be in his day.
Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine?
When you have done all that is commanded you, say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done what was our duty’.
‘Were your faith the size of a mustard seed you could say to this mulberry tree, “Be uprooted and planted in the sea,” and it would obey you.’
Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.
He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much; and he who is dishonest in a very little is dishonest also in much.
The master commended the dishonest steward for his prudence; for the sons of this world are wiser in their own generation than the sons of light.
Jesus answered, ‘Destroy this sanctuary, and in three days I will raise it up.’
