Gospel Reading for 18 July 2023 | Matthew 11:20-24
It shall be more tolerable on the day of judgement for Tyre and Sidon than for you.
The Bread of Life is a Catholic Charismatic prayer group dedicated to living out Christian values.
The Charismatic Renewal is a movement in the Catholic Church that recognises God as living and active.
Join us as we adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
Join us as we draw closer to God through praise and worship.
We share the love and joy of Christ to those who have been largely ignored by society.
We volunteer our time and abilities to serve the Lord and those around us.
We are dedicated to making you feel at home as part of God’s larger family.
We intercede for the Church, the prayer group and you and your families.
We draw you closer to God through praise and worship, using music and Scripture.
We are always available to pray with you and help you discern God’s will for your life.
The Bread of Life prayer group meets every Thursday at 6 p.m. to worship the Lord and to share the Word. We also meet for Eucharistic Adoration on the first Thursday of every month. These meetings are streamed live on our YouTube channel.
The Bread of Life prayer group meets every day, over Zoom, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. where we pray together and intercede for the needs of the Church and the prayer group, and for you and your loved ones. We’d love to have you join us!
The Bread of Life youth meet on most Saturdays at 5 p.m. where we worship the Lord, share the Word, and help each other navigate the world we live in, while living out Christian values. All are welcome!
It shall be more tolerable on the day of judgement for Tyre and Sidon than for you.
He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives him who sent me.
To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven.
Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.
You received without pay, give without pay.
Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest.
If I only touch his garment, I shall be made well.
The days will come, when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast.
