If any one would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.

He was transfigured before them, and his garments became glistening, intensely white, as no fuller on earth could bleach them.
If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
And he asked them, “But who do you say that I am?”
Jesus took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village.
Think not that I have come to abolish the law and the prophets; I have come not to abolish them but to fulfil them.
When he heard him, he was much perplexed; and yet he heard him gladly.
