The Bread of Life is a Catholic Charismatic prayer group dedicated to living out Christian values.
The Charismatic Renewal is a movement in the Catholic Church that recognises God as living and active.
Join us as we adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
Join us as we draw closer to God through praise and worship.
We share the love and joy of Christ to those who have been largely ignored by society.
We volunteer our time and abilities to serve the Lord and those around us.
We are dedicated to making you feel at home as part of God’s larger family.
We intercede for the Church, the prayer group and you and your families.
We draw you closer to God through praise and worship, using music and Scripture.
We are always available to pray with you and help you discern God’s will for your life.
The Bread of Life prayer group meets every Thursday at 6 p.m. to worship the Lord and to share the Word. We also meet for Eucharistic Adoration on the first Thursday of every month. These meetings are streamed live on our YouTube channel.
The Bread of Life prayer group meets every day, over Zoom, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. where we pray together and intercede for the needs of the Church and the prayer group, and for you and your loved ones. We’d love to have you join us!
The Bread of Life youth meet on most Saturdays at 5 p.m. where we worship the Lord, share the Word, and help each other navigate the world we live in, while living out Christian values. All are welcome!
But Jesus answered him, ‘Scripture says: you must worship the Lord your God,and serve him alone.
Jesus said, ‘I tell you solemnly, there is no one who has left house, brothers, sisters, father, children or land for my sake and for the sake of the gospel who will not be repaid a hundred times over, houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and land – not without persecutions – now in this present time and, in the world to come, eternal life.
Go and sell everything you own and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.’
A good man draws what is good from the store of goodness in his heart; a bad man draws what is bad from the store of badness. For a man’s words flow out of what fills his heart.’
‘Let the little children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs. I tell you solemnly, anyone who does not welcome the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.’
But from the beginning of creation God made them male and female. This is why a man must leave father and mother, and the two become one body. They are no longer two, therefore, but one body. So then, what God has united, man must not divide.’
Salt is a good thing, but if salt has become insipid, how can you season it again? Have salt in yourselves and be at peace with one another.’
But Jesus said, ‘You must not stop him: no one who works a miracle in my name is likely to speak evil of me. Anyone who is not against us is for us.’
Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who treat you badly.
