The Bread of Life youth meet on most Saturdays at 5 p.m. where we worship the Lord, share the Word, and help each other navigate the world we live in, while living out Christian values. All are welcome!
“For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help. He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death.” (Psalms 72:12-13). When the Lord looks at us, He looks to see if we are needy for Jesus. See, we have a negative impression about the word ‘needy’ because needy means someone who is desperate, needy means someone who’s not able to help themselves, someone who hasn’t worked hard, someone who is lazy. That’s our definition most of the time. But that’s not God’s definition. God’s definition is someone who’s surrendered their life completely to God saying, ‘Lord, I need you.’ Let that be our attitude today as we praise and worship Jesus.
