Praise & Worship

“Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.” (Psalm 71:3). When the psalmist says ‘Lord, be my rock’ it’s because in the past, the psalmist has made something his rock. In the past people or circumstances or wealth has been his rock. But now the psalmist is telling the Lord, ‘Lord, you be my rock.’ You and I as people tend to make our family members or our jobs or different circumstances dictate our actions. But now, let us repent and go back to the heart of God telling Him “Lord, you are my rock and my fortress. Lord I rely on you for everything”. Let us cry out to the Lord as we praise and worship God.
