“As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.” (2 Chronicles 2:22).
The Bread of Life is a Catholic Charismatic prayer group dedicated to living out Christian values.
The Charismatic Renewal is a movement in the Catholic Church that recognises God as living and active.
Join us as we adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
Join us as we draw closer to God through praise and worship.
We share the love and joy of Christ to those who have been largely ignored by society.
We volunteer our time and abilities to serve the Lord and those around us.
We are dedicated to making you feel at home as part of God’s larger family.
We intercede for the Church, the prayer group and you and your families.
We draw you closer to God through praise and worship, using music and Scripture.
We are always available to pray with you and help you discern God’s will for your life.
The Bread of Life prayer group meets every Thursday at 6 p.m. to worship the Lord and to share the Word. We also meet for Eucharistic Adoration on the first Thursday of every month. These meetings are streamed live on our YouTube channel.
The Bread of Life prayer group meets every day, over Zoom, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. where we pray together and intercede for the needs of the Church and the prayer group, and for you and your loved ones. We’d love to have you join us!
The Bread of Life youth meet on most Saturdays at 5 p.m. where we worship the Lord, share the Word, and help each other navigate the world we live in, while living out Christian values. All are welcome!
“As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.” (2 Chronicles 2:22).
“My God, in thee I trust, let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me.” (Psalm 25:2).
“For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help. He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death.” (Psalms 72:12-13).
Let us thank God for healing us. Let us thank God for delivering us. Let us extol God for drawing us to Himself when we were in a place where we couldn’t experience God.
“Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things. Blessed be his glorious name for ever; may his glory fill the whole earth! Amen and Amen!” (Psalm 72:18-19).
It is in our giving ourselves to God – in seeking God with all our hearts – that God is found and when God comes. And when our hearts are on Him, then God takes care of our everything.
“For not by their own sword did they win the land, nor did their own arm give them victory; but thy right hand, and thy arm, and the light of thy countenance; for thou didst delight in them.” (Psalm 44:3).
“My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and flesh sing for joy to thee living God.” (Psalm 84:2).
Oftentimes, because of disobedience and worldliness, we’ve lost out on the presence of God – we’ve lost out on Jesus. But we have this: that God is willing to lift us up again, to come into the sanctuary of our hearts once again as we go to Him and offer up ourselves truthfully to God.
